There is a series from a little while back called The Patriot (two seasons)...it is superb. Very very unique, a fair hint of the Wes Andersons in it, great writing and characters, a total hidden gem.

OK Steff. I salute you. I'm 4 episodes in and it's just hilarious but in the classy unintended way. So good.

Mobland is in a different league to The Gentlemen. Would be interesting to know who/what makes the difference, as both are created and co-directed by Guy Richie. Judging by the cast, Mobland has a bigger budget.

Mobland is tosh but it gets away with it because of the high production values, i enjoyed the first season - i haven't watched The Gentleman series so can't compare.

...it gets better and better IMO...the lead actress is excellent.

I'd classify The Gentleman as a classic Guy Richie gangster comedy/drama romp whereas Mobland is just a drama...darker and more sinister.

Both need taking with a healthy grain of salt but are enjoyable for what they are. Don't expect any Emmy's or BAFTA's though.

I'm just the one episode in as well, and I think it's going to be good!

4 episodes into the second season of the Pitt as well. I liked the first season but couldn't shake the similarities to the original ER series. BUT I think I'm over that now...it really is excellent, the range of characters and the subjects it expertly deals with.

Furious really was pretty special. My only issue was I assumed it was a mini series. As I read nothing on it till I'd finished.

So well written. Rossum is incredible. As are all the cast.

Tried to stsrt season 2 of gentleman and stopped at 15 minutes. It was just silly.

Agree with Billy that Mobland is tosh. It's mindless violence but it's watch while ya scroll stuff.

I could not stand the Gentleman, was just Richie Parody stuff, Mobland was better but mindless violence as said.

Delighted that Kin is coming back for series 3, that was very very good
