Seriously, The Boys. Get involved.

The dolphin scene in season one had me literally rolling around laughing. Closely followed by the baby being used as a lazer weapon and the whale scene in season two.

Great watch. Gory as brick, dark, funny, but also some top acting from relative unknowns.

Karl Urban steals the show, fudgein' diabolical.

Loads of people don't like Karl Urban's roosterney accent and find it unnecessary to the story but i bloody love it. Honestly one of the best shows out there to watch.

"Was you expecting some sort of happy ending? I'm sorry but this aint that kind of massage parlour" :D

I wouldn't be surprised if the accent is deliberately dodgy/a mish mash. He's the kind of actor who could pull off authentic if he had to.

"When you put them all together, they're the goddamn fudging Spice Girls."

His fascination with the spice girls, lol.

"If I was gonna boost a car, it wouldn't be a fudging Hyundai ya daft clam"
:D

The Boys is departed, it had a lot of possibilities and talent and money... but is departed.

Schitt's Creek is worse, just stupid and poorly written.

Kim's Convenience is even worse, reminds me of Mind Your Language.

Walking Dead- A World Beyond on Amazon today

If anybody is interested, its a story about the first lot of teenagers brought up in the Zombie troubles

On a very different tone, I've recently watched a few episodes of Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing.
It's some chilled relaxing gentle TV for my lunch breaks.

And I don't even fish.

Just finished Ep 7 season 2 of The Boys. fudging ey.......

It's been really nice to have that feeling of waiting for something to come out every week, but I'd quite like to see the finale now!

I'll keep it generic as I cba with the spoiler thing but I really want to know in regards to the last scene, that was fudging savage. Even by the show's standards haha hopefully it won't follow a similar trajectory in terms of quality but that felt like a bit of a red wedding moment.

It’s on Prime TV

I have enjoyed it. Not seen all of S2 yet. But very good spin on the super hero tripe that’s out there.

Yep I don't have any time for marvel / avengers / the whole schmoozefest but this is a genuinely decent and not a conveyor belt show that pertains to superheroes without it being a gushfest about some nerd brick that no one cares about.

I'm a massive Marvel fanboy, have been since a child so obvs i'm living my geek dreams at the moment.

But The Boys is such a fantastic take on the Superhero tropes so often seen. It's got so many facets to it (i love how Vaught are into EVERYTHING and they even have Bonus trailers for stuff they sell as bonus content on Prime, they're brilliant, actual Vaught commercials).

If you're not watching The Boys, you're missing out. Finale next week!
