We went to see Maverick done with an Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall last year
Was immense and to top if off Tom Cruise was there to introduce it and sat just above us
He got a standing ovation just for waling on stage
And of course Harold Faltermeyer , Jerry Bruckheimer and a few others behind it were there too
Was an unreal experience

Free bird scene must have been amazing.

Sounds a great experience but it was a fairly rubbish film IMO, I get the nostalgia but Cruise has become a parody of himself now......loved his early stuff, now it just screams over indulgence

I thought it was great because it fool an old character and used that as the basis for a modern film
And the use of the music was top notch too
Personal choice of course

Agree, laughed my head of when he made Reacher, a 5ft 7 inch dwarf in high heels trying to play a hardman.
