Had the girl baby sat last night so went to see Titanic 3D. Just so happened it was the 100 year anniversary of hitting the iceberg, so felt kind of special.
Anyway, had only seen the movie once, on video when I was a miserable 20-year old (or so), and didn't think much of it. But seeing it on the big screen just made you appreciate it's epicness.
It's still corny as hell in some parts, and it's still horribly miscast (except for Kate Winslett who is brilliant as always), but actually enjoyed myself a lot more than I was expecting to.

The plot was just so absurd I actually nearly walked out at one stage! The bit with the motorcycle and the force field! At that point I thought to myself, I'm not having this.
