They've also done all the Marvel films recently too, and they've been pretty good on the whole, and not anywhere near as child-friendly as any of the stuff Lucas has peddled since RoTJ, including the additions of dialogue and extra bits to the original trilogy. Lucas seemed unable to let modern audiences reach their own conclusions and insisted on spelling things out to the nth degree, whether that's by having Greedo shoot first or by changing Solo's dialogue at the Sarlaac pit so that he says "I can see a lot better" rather than "Trust me".Why?
Disney bought Miramax just before Pulp Fiction was made and I don't remember that being 'Disney-fied'.
