Dear GHod? Why?!!! People say that Hoddle has poor man management skills, but AVB makes Hoddle look like a man management genius :lol: And the same applies to AVB tactically. People claim Redknapp doesn't do tactics, and yet it's pretty clear that he is far superior tactically than AVB. I'm interested in seeing how Di Matteo does there. I genuinely believe Chelsea's best team is better than Spurs and that Chelsea should be fighting for the title this year, and yet they may end up missing out on the Champions League. Quite astounding really.....

Thats just not true though. I followed AVB massively last season for Porto, and he had maybe 3 or 4 good players there max, but that didn't matter because they played for him, they were a massively tight knit group, just like us! And thats why i think he'd be good for us.

Unlike Chelsea, a team run by John Terry, Fat Frank, and the other elites. Especially John Terry, who has Roman Abramovich under wrapped around his finger

Ageing players who were still better than the alternatives were dropped en-masse causing ruptions in the team. Who'd have thunk it?! If AVB had stuck with those ageing players they'd be title challenging and buying him time to find longer term alternative options. Instead he went straight in, made changes that he didn't need to make (probably due to his ego of making changes to show everyone he was the boss) and blew his job. At Spurs he'd probably drop Modric and Bale just to prove a point....

He tinkled off practically everyone at the club. He lost the plot completely. Porto mean nothing, he is in the big league now. We get AVB, and we'll finish outside the top six next year.
