No Rugby World Cup thread?

We have a good base of players but need to get over the arrogant rule of only picking home based players.
The principal is admirable, but foolish

Yep not picking the current European player of the year and the former European player of the year is slightly confusing.

I can understand the need to be able to release players for camps but that must be able to be negotiated.

And in the case of England where there are 5 or 6 players good enough for the squad, why not hold a training camp in France? Its not exactly far away.

Just reading an article about Sam Warburton... pleased to read he is such a Spurs fan that he has called his dog Ledley!

Going to be an interesting second half.
Defense and control has been great.
Australia will be coming out with new ideas though - thru have the ability to slice through

I hope all their new ideas involve kicking.

They kick like West Ham

Their no 1 hasn't bound in a single scrum yet today. That's the first time he's been pulled up on it.

WTF happened to 21's face? That's the kind of brick I expect from their cricketers - I'd expect better of their rugby players.

so i'm going to be in New York at the weekend, anyone have any recommendations on a good place to catch the England - New Zealand game, bearing in mind it'll be a 4am kick off in New York?

Watching from a bar in Portugal. Lots of kiwis here but they’ve been kept pretty quiet so far. Hope it stays that way.
Much better start than I imagined.
