I've had a bet on it. Odds are tumbling since though.
I put £50 @ 6/1. What odds did you get?

Two successive league titles with a club that had mustered two cup wins in 99 years of existence. At most they had the second best squad in the league, but he had a bit of luck with Erik Hamren leaving Rosenborg to take over Sweden. Before this season Molde lost several of their best players and took a while to get going, but they won the cup after beating long time nemesis Rosenborg in the final.
What really goes in his favour is the 11 years as a player and 3.5 years as reserve team manager at Manchester United. You won't find a better student of Alex Ferguson.
Same. I meant that odds were tumbling since I listed the 10/1 price. I think it's extremely likely that we'll have a winner.
please no

We'll have a winner because my Norwegian mate just told me half an hour ago that Molde have confirmed an approach has been made for Solskjaer:lol:
Isn't that the same as us having spoken to Yakin? Surely we asked permission first?
The last manager to leave there went on to manage Brentford, I just think it's a bit of a risk especially if there are better options out there.
Swiss side FC Basel have denied claims that Tottenham have contacted them about their coach Murat Yakin.
The former Swiss international has impressed since taking charge of Basel last year, guiding them to the domestic title while also eliminating Tottenham from the Europa League.
Reports in Switzerland have claimed that Spurs had made enquiries about Yakin and his possible availability, with some even suggesting that his agent was due in London for talks.
However, Basel have insisted that they have heard nothing from Tottenham, who are searching for a new manager following Monday's sacking of Andre Villas-Boas.
Their president Bernhard Heusler told Swiss daily Blick: "There has been no contact between the clubs."
Yakin, who is currently on holiday as the Swiss league enjoys its winter break, has also been linked with Lazio, but he insists he has not heard anything from either club.
"I am enjoying my holidays. I have had no contact with Lazio or Tottenham," he is quoted as saying by Blick.
SkyBet currently list Yakin as fifth favourite at 14/1 for the Spurs job, with caretaker Tim Sherwood and Glenn Hoddle the current favourites.
He's said elsewhere that he's talked with us though, so hmmm mixed messages. Either way, I'd be intrigued if we appointed Yakin, he has his side attacking well, even if it isn't always defensively solid.
why do you think of him mate?
