I think we should get Hoddle in for the rest of the season. Then weigh it up.

We have the players for his 5-3-2 which may work better in this era of football than 10 years ago

He knows the club

We want attacking football

He can speak spanish (i think)

With the skill set of the players we have his tactics and management style may be better suited than 10 uears ago.

Quote from talksport this morning

"A lot of spurs fans want Harry or Glen"

This Is a worry, let's hope levy doesn't believe it.

Lets not follow the same example as Liverpool and Saudi Sportswashing Machine.

Would love a punt on Luciano Spalletti, read Murmorn's post with interest. Has had success at different clubs (Empoli, Roma and now Zenit albeit weaker leagues imo, than PL). He has succeeded with his Italian back room staff in getting his ideas across in Russia so he can adapt to a different culture. Failing that a caretaker for now then go for Martinez in the summer. Remember a lot of his signings this time around have been brought in on loan. How will he feel when they go back to their parent clubs and he has no money to spend to bring in permanent recruits. He is a young and ambitious manager I think the right offer will tempt him.

3-5-2 only works from teh perspecitve of having Walker and Rose as ready made wingbacks. It doesnt work from teh perspective of fitting in Lennon, Townsend, Chadli, Lamela, Eriksen, possibly Holtby - you can really only get one of them in the team.

Klinsmann would be great, but on the other hand it might be too much of a steep call and too difficult a job for him?
any thoughts.. Ive no ldea what his present job is!

Ade and Soldado? you could not get much better outside of the big 3.

I assume you've seen Ade "play" when not in a contract season?

I rate Soldado very highly but Soldado/Non-contract-season Ade is a worse pairing than most Sunday league teams.

The Ade who got next to no service like Soldado this season? seems strange how Ade is lazy and does not bring anything to the side yet Soldado is the saviour.

Just because he suggested the formation on TV you think that's the system he'd actually adopt?

Haha, he was clearly just trying to look informed and alternative as a pundit, there is no way he'd introduce that kind of rapid change in the existing system if he took charge, predominantly because it just wouldn't work.

It's a bloody terrible idea and he should be no where near our club as a manager ever again.

He got plenty of service last season - when he actually bothered to turn up for work.

Quite a pedigree though, lve just been looking up his history on wikki Hes just signed a new 4 year contract with the States!
Would he be available to manage as well..
Oh well back to the drawing board..

5-3-2 is his preferred formation where ever he has been.... If he had had the players to accommodate it.
