Why not Yakin? Don't see him linked but Basle play great football and look well organised.

He's got previous for bad conduct on the touchline and falling out with people. Personally, I think that we could do without that.

He's one of the four journalists I would consider to have genuine contacts/favour within the club:

Jason Burt (Telegraph) - less so now AVB has gone

What about David Hytner? Thought he was a mouthpiece for the club?
 
Why do I get a sneeking feeling that we will get Poch after losing out on de Boer to Arsenal. I can just see it happen that we will mess about and end up with a 3rd choice manager. Not to say Poch is not a good manager but i get the feeling he is sort of a back up to our main targets LVG and RDB.
I personally would like Benitez, as we are desperate for experiance and he can manage a large squad and work under a director of football.

I don't think that the world is as black and white as you see it. And I don't think that any of us really have that clearer an idea of who leaks what to whom. If a load of chumps on a message board knew this then the club would certainly too and they would not stand for it if they thought that it was not in their interests. Besides, a journalist like Hytner is going to have more than one contact in a club.

Was never going to happen anyway, but it looks like my dark horse is out of the running.

Seems slike Thomas Tuchel is going to take over at Schalke 04 in the Summer. Be interesting to see how he does. I personally think he he'll be a major hit.

Other rumours are Wenger to Wolfsburg and Armin Veh to Stuttgart. FdB to Arsenal?

I bet there is loads of movement again this Summer and we end up with Pochettino, who will bomb, get sacked, and we'll have missed out on all the best bets in a manager merry go round again. We already missed the boat with PL managers, now we're going to miss out on the most promising from Europe as well :lol:

Imagine sacking Tim hours after tomorrows game, then introducing the new guy at half time during Ledley's match. The whole atmosphere at the club would be transformed in an instant.

Like you I am a it concerned, teams seem to be getting their business done quickly: Schmidt to Leverkusen, looks like Tuchel to Schalke, van Gaal off the market.

If these Wenger to Wolfsburg rumours have legs we could end up totally screwed.

Why would we end up screwed? We have more than one target, all we know is that Levy would like to interview FDB but he's not the only candidate....
