Honestly surprised we didn't make a pitch for him in January with WC, etc.
We must surely do so in the summer, none of the other top clubs need a GK so we should have a clear run.

I think it depends on the player in this example. Went to city and was quickly replaced hence possibly looking for a way out.I think we'd be more attractive than Leeds and could in theory pay more wages than the other 2.

I think it’s a straight shootout between us and villa. Martinez is looking to leave, I’m uncertain about our situation with Vicario. I think the fans want him replacing and there is a possible return to Italy for him. But I make Villa the favourites currently
Hasn’t that been part of their FFP situation with paying higher wages? I’m not sure. At the moment Villa will be in for a keeper, currently there is no noise from our squad that Vicario is on his way out. If Villa were smart, which they are … they hey would have been tapping him up already.Guess it depends who our next permanent head coach is to persuade Trafford that we are the next step on his path to having a glorious career… as Emery has turned Villa into a Top 4 team plus he’s won as many UEFA competitions as all of our managers put together, so can imagine signing for him would be appealing prospect for any ambitious player but at least we can pay higher wages than Villa.
We are not jammy Chelsea … I bet if Chelsea were in the same position as us and hired Tudor they would finish in the top 6 and win the CL lolIt Igor has a stunning run to the end of the season then I would not be against him having deserved it
Lets see, but its def a shop window for both IMO
Well sign Emery too.Guess it depends who our next permanent head coach is to persuade Trafford that we are the next step on his path to having a glorious career… as Emery has turned Villa into a Top 4 team plus he’s won as many UEFA competitions as all of our managers put together, so can imagine signing for him would be appealing prospect for any ambitious player but at least we can pay higher wages than Villa.
Now now, don't be winding up the Poch fanboys. It Igor has a stunning run to the end of the season then I would not be against him having deserved it

I don't think we should be judging on 12 games either way, I'm struggling to think when a short term fix and gone on to achieve much after they have been kept on?It Igor has a stunning run to the end of the season then I would not be against him having deserved it

Ole didn't do to badly, despite the noise around him.

As long as he brings back with him prime Lloris, Walker, Toby, Yan, Rose, Dembele, Eriksen and Kane....10 years ago bring him back.

What is Chris Hughton up to at the mo?For all the talk/hope/rumours of the Return of the Poch for next season….. if the unthinkable happens and we are relegated, is the challenge of getting us straight back up enough for him? Is managing a Championship side going to be the level he wants to work at? And if not, what are our feasible options (apart from Ryan Mason)?
