Yes you did. In response to me pointing out they are wearing white to highlight knife crime you decided to respond by suggesting they should be highlighting something else, instead seeing the positive of the community action they are taking (one which they started before the current police investigation into sexual assault).
As far as suggesting I am ok with ignoring sexual violence - go fudge yourself. I happen to volunteer in the community at a very prestigious level within criminal justice, so I will not have my integrity questioned.
Arsenal have championed a worthy cause, they should be commended for, I applaud them for that.
However, I will make two points,
1, they are not restricted to one cause,
2, taking a stance on one worthy cause does not absolve them of their responsibilities to other equally worthy causes.
Arsenal as a club have chosen to harbour a man frequently and consistently linked to domestic and sexual violence. A man who but for a technicality would most likely be in jail, a man who has all but admitted his guilt.
In this day of brand protection, that arsenal from owners to players, the FA and the PL have chosen to ignore this of fall over themselves to do as little as possible to deal with it I find utterly bizarre.
Should this break, and I can no reason why it shouldn't, there has to be some very serious questions asked about those three organisations.
Even the binfire of a club that is man utd dealt better with the Greenwood incident than arsenal have.
Knife crime is a hideous issue and stirs strong emotions in some, as do other issues with some people.
