I don't want Isco. I don't think he fills a position in our squad that we need to sign players for. The only way I would want Isco is if we are losing Eriksen (and if that is to happen we might as well wait until the Summer and ensure Real Madrid include him in some sort of player plus cash deal).

I think the midfield option we are short in is the one that Dembele filled. A strong player who will not lose his defensive battles and can take the ball in a tight space and carry it forward. I can certainly see the attraction in N'Dombele here.

Their president has since commented on how much he admires Daniel Levy. I think the pair of them are peas in a pod in a way.

That's only 2 Sissokos. In today's market, £60m is the starting point for someone who can kick a football.

AND - rumour of Fekir going this window. 18 months on his contract, most likely player to leave next.

I doubt they would let them both go. Especially if they get relatively good money on Fekir
 
Pure conjecture of course, it would be foolish to put any real stock into the tabloid tittle tattle...


...but, makes sense to me that Lyon could realistically lose Fekir (to us or elsewhere, given his profile and contract status) and so not need or want to sell NDombele as a consequence.

Would be pretty sweet if it played out as you say though!
