How many missed passes, had my reservations earlier in the off season but jumped on by the pro Benty fans, so was willing to wait and watch again.

I still see the same stuff. Hopefuly it gets sorted soon and is more a mental than ability problem.

Just as I said with Rose, very happy Poch seems to see it too. Want Ali in ASAP for this second half against Utd.
 
Have never been a fan of him or Mason. Both are seriously limited players and not good enough. At least Mason knows his limitations, unlike Bentaleb.

That he switches off and makes the same mistake. I asumme that is why he was subbed against Madrid and not featured since.

Wtf? Bentaleb is a seriously limited player?? fudge me ...

Poor game from a young player who has looked off the pace in pre season.

He will need to find form quickly
 
its possible that Kane, Mason and Bentaleb might suffer from 2nd full season drop in form syndrome. Its understandable. Unfortunately right now Poch relies very heavily on them. We will see how things pan out
 
When pressed, he regularly loses possession like that. Seriously over rated by some people on here. He is just a player and would not get close to the starting line ups of any of the other top six sides.

Loan?? This is the guy who at 19, bossed the midfield against matic/fabregas and cazorla/ramsey, and you want us to loan him away because of a brick game away to United..

If we made him available for loan there would be a record setting que lining up to get him.

He's a young kid with massive potential, we can't give up on him, he will come good, but not if we toss him away.

Seeing as they all had stand out seasons last year (by their own standards) then they were almost certain to have a less good season this time around. Either that or they're Bale/Modric good.

That doesn't make them poor players, nobody's learning curve is a straight line
 
I think he looks uncomfortable on the left side of CM.last season he played on the right side of CM. but it looks like to accommodate Dier. benteleb has been shifted to the other side. Little things like that can affect players natural game.

I'm not excusing a very poor performance by the kid, but I don't think he looked comfortable. Also midfield partnerships takes time to gel.
 
This guy is a real talent. Today was awful. He needs to learn but would really benefit from an experienced player alongside him. Wish Davids could come back!
