Moussa Sissoko

Typically gutless, pathetic response from the officials to a nothing incident which they clearly saw, and the only reason it's been turned into an issue is the media goons squealing about it. Having said that, is there a player in the squad at the moment that I'm less bothered about being given a three-match ban? Not really.
Could have been better and Lamela banned instead?

What the feck are some of our Spurs followers going on about, its a red all day long and if had happened the other way round, we would be baying for Arter's blood.

Gee some people are blinded by club loyalty. Had an opposition player done that to one of our players and gotten away with it, this site would go off line due to the huge traffic of complaints made by posters.

tickle my balls with a feather, Spurs tinted glasses without a doubt.

My issue isnt the elbow it's the ref getting away with plainly lying again...

He didn't see it... Yet was caught on camera looking at the "incident" and even spoke to his lino about it. He bottled a big decision as he knew it would be dealt with on Monday. It's weak and a sham IMO

I think that's all anyone is moaning about.

Thought we really could have done with him last night. Onomah and Carroll were a waste of space all evening and, if you include Winks and GKN as well, four of our front 6 weighted about 12 stone in total. He would have also given some more support to Janssen that Carroll and Onomah offered

I was virtually directly opposite the ref's position and about the same distance away. In real time, it was well nigh impossible to see exactly what happened, still less determine that an elbow had been used with intent. I don't blame the ref at all.

A Spurs player getting a ban for elbowing a player, GHod forbid someone has to be blamed for that happening as usual its the ref. ;)

Agreed; i suspect Janssen would have had more support with Sissoko's pace in behind, plus their defenders would have had to make a decision whether to get tight on Janssen or watch out for Sissoko's runs in behind

It has been proved in the past that is very hard to judge what a ref is actually looking at. About the spoken word, well it is possible to read lips, but it´s silly to sudgest that somebody except from the ref and the linesman knows what they talked about.

He does most of or even all his work 10 feet either side of the halfway line. He does 'allow' Walker to overlap......which is useful.
I believe he was a little disorientated because he was caught out a little too far forward by at least 2 foot when his elbow was headbutted by Arter

I think Sissoko has been playing to instruction tbh

Agreed.
No excuses there, reminded me of Leonardo twitting Tab Ramos in the 84 WC for Brasil v the US. Silly boy.
Absolute rubbish. Leonardo swung his elbow hard and smashed it into the face of his opponent, very violently. Sissoko just brushed past him, no big swing.

Absolute rubbish

Come on, the story is that Arter jumped up and cheeked Sissoko's elbow. We all know that.;)

Are there any Sissoko fans out there? Might he suddenly blossom? Did he ever do anything for Saudi Sportswashing Machine? Hope he does well on Wednesday....

His mum and Didier Deschamps perhaps? Of course it's early days, and of course I wish to be proved wrong but from the start the transfer seemed pretty mental...
