Mousa Dembele

Is Poch the man to release the Moose? And/or is it playing further forward? Definitely playing with more urgency and vision, whilst still showing the great attributes we already knew he had.
 
Once again so many attacks broke down through his aimless dribbling. If you think this was a great game you have really low standards.
 
Always rated dembele. Looked again. But ever since he's come in the middle eriksen has disappeared. If dembele stays he has to move to the right hand side so eriksen can be in his rightful place.
 
He hung the midfield duo out to dry tonight.
How many tackles of interceptions did he make.
They were swamped 2 against 4(coutinho, markovic, gerrard and henderson).

Actually no its Poch's fault for not getting him cover more.

Not a bad shout, to play Dembele on the right and Eriksen central. Then we can get Chadli starting on the left.
 
I really dislike Dembele as a player

But I thought tonight was his best ever game for us. Poch really is a miracle maker

In my opinion it does - even if he still does it occasionally, he's getting much better at releasing the ball more quickly - and it's ridiculous to act as if his dribbling and strength is never a positive thing. Plus he scored.

Zero pace in that trio and not much energy. We need Lamela for balance.

Chadli when we want to be attacking, Dembele when we want to be conservative
 
I really hope Poch can get Dembele to drive into the box more. So many times, he starts a run, beats a man and it opens up for him. GO INTO THE BOX! But then he sorta stops. With his ability to go past people, he could win about 80 pens a season.

I honestly think Chadli is slightly quicker than Lamela. You don't often see Lamela run past people, but this season Chadli has done it a lot.
