Morgan Schneiderlin

what a central midfield, Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger.....stuff of dreams. Fcukers

bentaleb > schneiderlin anyway.

But it'd been nice to have both. I prefer Wanyama anyway, he was the real rock in Southamptons midfield last season.

Morgan Schneiderlin arrived into Carrington five-minutes after Bastian Schweinsteiger this evening. Medical done, now a #MUFC player.

Norwood is apparently a top journo
Disappointing to say the least.

Kim Kallstrom anyone? anyone???

i dont see anyone busting a gut to sign Wanyama;)

can't say it's a surprise, the time to sign him was a year ago, two solid PL season's and he moved out of our envelope, we need to move when the risk is higher

Other then being linked to Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal previously. All a player the three of them need. His type don't get noticed too much as he tends to do more than one job to make the rest of the team look fluent.

there really was no risk last summer. He was proven and we had a manager he respected.......we fcuked up and we knew it and this summer we werent even at the races. We have been looking elsewhere, looking for the next Stambouli :)

We should go for Mata. It's unlikely, but I can't see how United will play all their midfielders in the same team.

linked shminked.....if a top club (not including Spurs of course) wants a Soton player, they get him. Wanyama is still there the last time i looked.

for the player, probably not, but they would have wanted 25m from us even then, bearing in mind we had nicked MP and they had sold half the squad to liverpool

yeah, i guess that means he's totally brick. He carried Schneiderlin last year, to the point where Schneiderlin was actually the one getting credit. Not to say Schneiderlins poor. I already said I'd have liked him here. But I prefer Wanyama and he'd improve us ALOT more.

Not in the least bothered, it was getting a bit like a bunch of kids wanting something because they've been told they can't have it. £25m that can used in better ways IMV.

the point still stands that Man Utd still aren't strengthening in positions they actually need to. No doubt it's not the end of their spending, but I'm pretty happy with having them on the opening day.
