A World Cup from long enough ago would've faded in the memory enough to be watchable again and I always enjoy watching smaller countries in the group stage.

I have booted up football manager but I am tired of that particular game. Playing Age of Empires 3 now more often. Wars of Liberty is a good mod for it.

Italia 90 in its entirety. Three games a day, no breaks during the rest days. Should be squeezable into 20 days by which time this fudgefest of a crisis should be over.

Italy v Brazil 1982 World Cup is a fantastic game to revisit.

I want to dig out the 82 semi between France and West Germany again.

Would LOVE to see '81 SF replay again (I went and have only ever seen brief highlights since).

I plan on my semi-regular viewing of Ajax second-leg.

Yesterday I sat the family down and we rewatched the second half of our semi final 2nd leg vs Ajax. Incredible scenes. Bloody hell I love Poch.

I remember loads of low scoring games. Passing it back to the keeper, rolling it out to the defender, then back to the keeper etcetera.
I remember calling out for Bobby Robson to play Gazza as he kept leaving him out and we were dour.

But of course the last gasp Platt volley vs Belgium, and the West Germany game are legendary, so they make the whole thing the best World Cup evs.
