I wonder ( when back of course ) if Udogie can play LCB, he has pace and he is strong. Would need someone to cover him then though.
We bought philips for a reason. Would prefer he had a bit more experience. But there is only one way to get it.

Everyone knows he is the gemSome will disagree but imo he will be the player we miss most IF he is out for a while.
True and don’t forget Dorrington. By all accounts he has been the most impressive out of the two this season. We bought philips for a reason. Would prefer he had a bit more experience. But there is only one way to get it.

Dorrington would work well if we were playing Aston Villa? He is very good and comfortable with the ball
Would work well against someone like Villa imo with their high line
Dorrington would work well if we were playing Aston Villa?
That’s very specific!

Well Dorrington starts for the u21s tonight and Phillips has been completely left out.Not forgetting him. But phillips is a bit quicker is he not? It will be anges decision. Unless he goes with a skipp or bissouma in there.
We'll see.

Looks like it will be Dier and Phillips with Dorrington on the bench perhaps.
#barebonesProbably have a couple of the academy on the bench. We have got a bit thin.
What happened to Abbott? He looked ok, last game of last season.
Thought that was Matt Craig or have I got that the wrong way round?Playing in the academy game just now, but he is a cm, isn't he?

I'm pretty sure of it .. elite athletes warm up for a reason. Asking them to stand still for an unknown period (30 seconds -> 5 mins+) on a cold night then sprint immediately after, and do that 10 times a game (last night had 10 VAR interventions) is macaronic
Here's hoping for a Lennon/Routledge moment where one of the youngsters steps up earlier than expected and exceeds expectations
Lets hope this isn’t too bad and the lad doesn’t lose a yard of pace from the injury. Has he ever had a serious long term injury?
