We need that energy though and we need players fresh without the mental scars that want to grow and will grow together. Its not overly a bad thing especially for Spurs

It's hard to shift that baggage at times and confidence is easily lost and a lot harder to get back.

Hmm £30m is a fairly decent chunk of money nowadays; sounds like a "starter" if you are paying that much. I have no idea if this guy is the next Van Dijk, but considering all of the players playing around Europe, it doesn't feel like a particularly great/cunning steal.

Let's hope he matures to be better than Rodon, Davies, Sanchez et al.

PS I really like the look of Ronnie Edwards at Peterborough, helped the England U19s win their Euros, played at the U20 World Cup (England topped the group before Italy knocked them out) born in Harlow, 20 years old, only £3m ish according to this, I don't suppose there is any way Spurs could buy him and loan him for 2 years to replace Van de Wen!!

I liked the look of Edward's at Peterborough, but he had a nightmare in the play offs, pressure really got to him.

A Dutch reporter has said that the player, his dad and his agent flew in yesterday and met with Ange and it was a very positive meeting.

I think there was some 'Burger King' style ITK that someone saw them with our Brad Friedel lookalike at the airport yesterday

A bit harsh there
He is a coach but he works with youth players and privately
I’d always question though why he isnt working at a club

Yeh I am being overly harsh, but like you I ask myself why someone who often lauds up his own coach ability and talks like he swallowed the hipsters football guide is not working more in the game.

We all talk tosh at times, myself more than anyone, but the whole OTT use of terms that frankly mean nothing just comes over pretentious

He reminds me of that fells from the floppyinch podcast with the purple hair who claims his stats helped Klopp sign players only to be found out that he was lying and just does the stats in his basement as a hobby and his podcast

His stats reveal that to date he.is very poor in the air for centre back, especially when you consider his height.
We are tottenham tv on YouTube did a deep dive in the stats on vdv and tapsoba, and vdv wins a higher percentage of his airial duels than tapsoba. For some reason he’s just been in much fewer duels.

I'm beginning to think that Big Ange has a way with words that perfectly pitches what he and we, the club, have to offer.

Either that or he's that snake out of jungle book.
Maddison said in his interview about him didn't he
Look even if you're here or not Spurs are going to play totally different next season, etc
Ange seems to know the right things to say
Hopefully they will get involved in the Kane talks too
