No he replied to a report from the idf that said a palestinian rocket had blown up the hospital. He's biased as he is israeli and was a part of the idf.
It's like if someone was brought up in a muslim country they might believe the Quran.

No. Not the same. He reported a lie and then did not correct it.

What a fukin stupid analogy. If someone grows up in the UK they might beleive the Bible lol. If someone grew up in Israel they might accept genocide and ethnic cleansing and that's fine. Weird analogy dude.

Missed the bit where he said anything was ok. Just the bit about a hospital blowing up where he asked if they blew it up themselves?
Also the bit where he said everyone was talking about one atrocity but not another.

There are atrocities every day in africa, china, yemen. Yet everyone seems to get up in arms when israel is involved. Funny that.

A bit revisionist I would think... it is very clear that he is endorsing the idf tweet and spreading the lie... he is not asking anything

Revisionist is looking back and saying it was a lie.
He reposted it as the report came out, as far as i'm aware. Guessing he thought it was true.

At the end of the day he has a very different perspective than us on what was happening. He didn't condone anything. Just posted a different viewpoint.

Doesn't make him evil.

You are being obtuse in my view.

And tell me, which war are we directly supporting by supplying weapons from those others? Which one do we refuse to condemn? Israel is an issue as they get away with literal genocide due to the west's complicity.

Yemen, we supply the saudis. We've said nothing about the uyghurs. When 300 school girls in nigeria were kidknapped it hardly made the news.

Because I want to really get involved in this argument it seems...
This is whataboutism. Sure, other bad things happen. Make a thread and we can talk about those things there.

Not whataboutism. It's an observation. There are no protests about any of those things. People aren't breaking into military bases or flying flags. They never do.

I don't want to talk about those things. I don't want to talk about israel and palestine. But it keeps getting brought up.

Maybe there is a conspiracy, but Wikipedia suggest the hospital was most likely blown up by an "errant rocket from Gaza as the likeliest explanation" what am I missing?

Certainly doesn't seem conclusive, that we should be labelling a footballer an extremist. I know this is a sensitive topic, but we shouldn't let the horrors of this war lead to personal hate for other people or unfairly accuse them.

I reckon if my country was committing genocide, I'd speak out against it.
There's lots of decent liberals in Israel. You make a choice to support a genocide conducting far right regime. If he was a Serb defending Srebreinca, he'd deserve the same hostilty.

I do wonder if the reason he couldnt get an EPL move was because of the toxicity of his social media? If that's why Palace suddenly dropped him? Our PR team have for a long time seemingly been airbrushing him out, as any photo with him was getting a big liberal backlash

Doubt it, they wouldn't have entered talks with us otherwise. Far more likely is that they thought they could get a deal where we paid a decent portion of the wages and when we wouldn't they pulled out (probably after we informed them there were a few clubs who were prepared to pay his whole wage).
