Lucky Green Kit?

Now that is a good idea. And DL could sell a ton if he gets that moving. I love to see us in all White, but not this seasons version with the blue banding.

Good Call. Special version with stitching would go down a bomb.

Good precedent too - In the 1991 cup final we debuted the 1991-93 shirt, rather than the 1989-91 one we'd been using the rest of that season

WE did it in the 87 final as well.

But not once since we have had DL have we had a kit out early. Maybe once, the clean white one that Berba wore for our 125th anniversary season. DL does seem to make us wait until summer is almost over to flog the last of the shirts from the season before.

But surely have see the numbers ringing in his ears if they get our new one out for the final.

I remember queuing the night before the 91 cup final to get that new shirt to wear.

I think we have, I'm sure we finished a season with a 3-1 win over Sunderland and wore next seasons kit, Steve Carr scored an audacious chip.

The 91 cup final shirt was crap compared to the 89-91 seasons one. It was when we moved from Hummel to Umbro and it went proper chav lesiureware baggy.

I choose to have the Hummel one framed on my wall, and think of it as the (even better than the final) semi-final shirt

The 91 Semi still is for pure emotion the best game I have ever attended. The Scum had only lost once all season and we were severe underdogs. So kind of agree with you there. I did like the final shirt but not the baggy socks and Im not really a fan of the Navy socks.

The 87 final when we wore a new shirt was a rooster up. Half the shirts were missing the Holsten Logo across the front.
