Get him the f*ck down there now, Ledley would love playing in this team.
I knew a rep called Mandy Roan. Her nickname was Randy Moan. You would think they could get him new knees they put a man on the moan.
Clipboard Chris is now Laptop Ledley
One of our own. Lovely to see.
The pitch-side seats at Stamford Bridge are a joke. The coaches eyes are below knee level, they can't see a thing without standing up.
glad the club gave him a role. not sure how good is he though - never seen him on interviews though he seemed to be a good leader and captain of the average football club we were back then.
He commented on a couple of our games on itv4 when we were in the Europa league and was pretty awful.
My favourite ever player I love him, he is not a natural in the studio. He did read the game well as a player which gives him half a chance the rest would be whether he could get across what he means to the players.
Yeah agreed. As a pundit, he’s dreadful. Think he’s a bit of a shy lad so being on tv probably doesn’t suit him. Doesn’t mean he isn’t a good coach though.

Met him a couple of times (in his ambassador role), very shy, takes a while to warm up.
I actually think he knows the game extremely well, the story he told was with all the injuries, he spent a lot of time watching the game, watching what happens/positioning/etc. and he feels that impacted/improved his ability as a player.
He reminds me of Paul McGrath actually which is funny because, as a player, he’s had that comparison too because neither trained properly and they were still brilliant most weeks.
McGrath was very nervous doing punditry. Apparently he was bricking himself so badly doing it that John Giles had to say “Paul, just say this when you’re prompted and I’ll say ‘that’s a great point Paul’ to settle you down”. Think he also no-showed for the BBC in the 2002 World Cup. I believe Ledley liked a drink and was photographed a few times looking all over the shop although McGrath’s problems were an awful lot worse. Here’s a man who, according to his autobiography, drank Domestos.
