I always thought that ladies day was a day for ladies to dress up in their finest and to wear classy and maybe slightly outlandish hats. Now it seems to be a freak show for the exhibitionists who are hellbent on getting on TV or their pic in the papers. The celebrity culture has a lot to answer for. Dignity and class seem to be disappearing.
