I know we all have our own individual sense of style and what I wear may not appeal to others, but I have got to say that the woman in black in the picture you posted yeah sure she is ugly etc but the worse thing about it is her shoes. They remind me of the sort of thing I used to wear in PE at school. Surely she should have put on some heels. Just awful ugly disgusting shoes.

TBH Ladies Day at Ascot in June is just as bad

I've done Ascot, Goodwood, Epsom and Windsor ladies day and the last 3 were head and shoulders for gorgeous well dressed women above Ascot & Aintree

what has happened to this country? scum like that used to have the good grace to stay at home where we wouldn't have to see them

I blame channel 4, everyone thinks they can be a celebrity now

I think you will find there has been a ladies day at the national meeting for about 30 years now, its not a recent happening

I like a day at the races but having been to the Derby, the National and Royal Ascot I wouldn't go to any of them unless I was in a entertainment box, they are full of tossers getting drunk, give me a nice Tuesday afternoon at Fontwell or Kempton Park

Goodwood is a beautiful place to watch racing and a different breed of fan go too, the Derby is a mare but the Oaks the day before is a great day, I always get tickets in the decent enclosures too
