Joe Rodon

Talk about sliding doors moments. If Rodon had been fit, he could have made a massive statement last night. Seems like Rodon just isn't a good fit, he finally gets his chance and cannot even appear.

Or its a decoy to keep his value up for January and not let on how little Conte rates him. He was on the bench after all.
 
Can he still be loaned out?

Bit like Gil in that he is a good pro but no hope of getting a look in, so for his own development he should be loaned out.

Problem is without Rodon it’d take one CB injury and we’d be threadbare, it isn’t the best situation for him for sure.

Also I’m sorry but what the fark is Conte trying to say there? It makes no sense.

Sounds like he is laying down a challenge.
I'd expect to see Rodon soon.
Maybe even throw him in against City - it's win/win.

I thought he was Diers understudy (Conte quote), not been asked to step in for him once.
 
Let’s not forget that Ryan Mason is Conte’s assistant, and didn’t bother to give Rodin a look in when he had the chance...
So I have a feeling that Conte has been going on his Assistant’s recommendations

Only to countries that have different transfer windows. So South America, Czech Rep, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Russia etc.

Is that the reason Mourinho and Santo never played him either? Or is it just because he was another Calum Davenport style punt that didn't work out?
