At least Gedson didn’t cost us a fee! And we can give him back.

We’re going to be stuck with Clark forever, as Levy will be expecting to sell him to Madrid for £85m.

(Not release him on a free to Stalybridge, which is the inevitable outcome.)

How different this season might’ve been if we’d got this transfer over the line last summer instead of Clarke... don’t think we’ll get another chance after Dybala’s revival in form though.

issue was they had too many on loan
 
This just go to show what a bunch of moaning entitled fans we have, despite never have seen him play he is written off and to top it off it's all his fault we never signed half a dozen world class players. Hopefully we have a crap season next year, they'll be over the moon with loads of people to blame.

If you know anything about the few career performances he’s made, you’d understand why a £10m spend was a total waste.

No I’m saying no one thought Kane was any good from our fan base
And most wanted a new striker rather than give him a chance
Luckily the guys at the club know more than the fans

FTR I was an advocate of giving Harry a go right from the start, as it was clear he deserved a chance.
This guy doesn’t.

Put it this way, if I throw you a random Championship random 18 year olds name, would you be happy spending £10m of this seasons back up striker money on him?

No? Why not? Surely we should give Tra Lucas a chance? If not, then you want us to have a bad season next year. Apparently.

Last season was a different world
And money was very different then
He was held in high regards and that’s why we jumped in
He was playing well before getting ill/injured for Leeds (thought it was Glandular Fever but I can’t remember)
Leeds would only do the deal if they could keep him which says they rated him
They also though needed other players hence why they didn’t play him all the time

He had 6 promising games prior to suffering a seizure at Middlesbrough. That’s getting on 2 years ago now.

After that, he was awful. and we bought him based on that. Leeds fans were literally tinkling them self laughing at what we spent on him.

Happy to disagree and not fall out over this! If you think he’s going to be ok, then fine.

I’m happy to stick with the fact I feel that based on history and performances, and price, we’ve bought a pup.

Only time will tell.

I’m not having that gonads that this means I want us to have a bad season though. That’s an utterly indefensible accusation and an incredible reach to attach to this debate.

I’ve no idea if he will be ok
I do think he should be given a chance first
We have given worse players games IMO
