yeah im just waiting for Chelski to swoop now a fee has been agreed Spurs.
We've been linked with Clinton N'Jie (sp?), that German striker Timo something (not sure how pacy he is) and that other winger at Monaco (Belgian lad) just of top of my head.
Berahino I'm pretty certain it ain't.

1) Aulas hates Levy, 2) Werner's record is pretty bad, even for a promising youngster, and 3) Ferreira-Carrasco is an out-and-out winger, I think: a forward capable of leading the line who also can play out wide is what we're looking for.
Who knows, we could be looking at Berahino given those realities. Still think we'll end up with someone like Breele Embolo or Diego Rolan, however.

I'd be very happy with Berahino. For the U21's he has worked very well coming off of the left flank to work around Kane and at this stage of his career could adapt to the role well. The asking price however is too high for the lad, especially given the amounts asked for N'jie and Martial who both have European experience.

I think he was caught speeding while drunk a while back. And I think he was pictured with laughing gas once. That's it, though.
To be honest, I don't see Berahino as disruptive or prone to off-field issues at all. On the contrary, he seems very level-headed, judging by every interview he's given since that talk transpired of him leaving West Brom in January. He even pointed out how ridiculous it was to judge him based on the aforementioned couple of incidents when other footballers get away with a lot worse, and judging by his twitter his biggest off-field interests seem to be a) decrying the happenings in Burundi , the country he fled, b) mentioning GHod every second tweet, and c) his charity foundation.
Tony Pulis mentioned he was a quiet lad, and also noted how his work-rate had improved since he (Pulis) has joined the club. I don't think there's much in that talk about him being disruptive or difficult at all.

is that all, but that was a while ago. There is no need to write off a kid because he has made one or two mistakes. Im sure plenty of players have drink and drove but were lucky not to get caught, dressing room bust ups must happen all the time because of all the testosterone flying about.

What they come out and said they don't want him anymore?
I seriously doubt that, but if so should get him. He won't be the last English youngster to make the mistakes he has and turned out ok...

He wants to see talks stepped up with 21-year-old Berahino who is now back at the club having treatment on a knee injury that forced him out of the European Under-21 Finals.
The severity of that injury is not yet known but regardless of the knee Albion want his future sorted.
Pulis wants to build a team around the 21-year-old. His summer targets are being groomed to complement Berahino and not replace him.
Ba would offer the physicality and finishing that Victor Anichebe and Brown Ideye have shown only in flashes.
Both of their futures remain in doubt although it is fair to say Pulis is open to offers.
Ba bagged 14 goals in 51 appearances for Chelsea, hit 29 goals in 58 appearances for Saudi Sportswashing Machine and scored seven goals in 13 games that helped keep West Ham in the Premier League back in 2011.

There's definitely something to be said for signing young players with an "attitude" and hoping that they grow up. Van Persie, Suarez, Ibrahimovic, Anelka...all scared people off at one point or another when young. The problem is, for every one of them that matures and becomes world class, you get a Balotelli, Cassano or Adebayor that flushes a load of promising talent down the toilet.
Impossible to say how Berahino will turn out without knowing him personally. It may mean we can get a quality player on the cheap that ends up forming a partnership with Kane for club and country for years to come. It may mean we sign a less good version of Defoe that causes squad disharmony.
