We are not going to the dogs we have already arrived.

Last month some weirdos put strawberries in my salad and now today we were out with the sister in law and the family stopped at a tea room and they were selling courgette cake well courgette and lemon to be exact.

I do not know, I just can not understand why anyone would put courgette in a cake seriously where did it all go wrong. I actually think this is part of the reason we are crap at football these days. People in this country spend their time making ever more weird menus for the public to eat instead of rioting in the street at our crap showing in the world cup.

The wifes sister had some of this cake, offered me some by putting it on a fork and saying the train is coming into the station as she neared my mouth. Can not stand jokes like that, it is clear I am an adult and not a child, stupid bint one day I may fcuk her just to take that smug self satisfied look off her face.

What are they going to come up with next, I dare eat out any more because I am scared what they will think up next.

No laughing matter steff old bean, I am serious why on gods green earth would you put courgette in a cake, courgette is a vegetable I do not care what anyone says.

Some people really have no idea. They should be deported. The thought of courgette in a cake is abhorrent, we are not animals.

Well, we are, technically, but not in the sense that this is - and ever will be - an acceptable component of a delicious sponge-based snack. Courgettes? no ta, not for me. Leave them to the French. I prefer zucchinis, anyway.
 
Beetroot chocolate cake is probably one of the best cakes out there, as for Courgette in cake it makes them very nice and moist.

You should try it. I know that the logic is corrupt, you're right that vegetables should not appear as part of a cake but... damn, carrot cake is good!!

Courgettes are used in a cake for much the same reason as courgettes have a good level of sugar content. It used to be that sugar cane was used in products like cakes but now it's sugar beet which is.... grown on farms as a vegetable!! :lol:

The whole World is crazy but sometimes it's best just to shut your eyes, take part and enjoy! Sometimes crazy is good!

Is beetroot cake purple?! That's the worst thing about beetroot... the colour gets everywhere! You have a salad with a beetroot in it, it turns the plate purple, it turns the bread purple... you get purple cheese... it infects EVERYTHING!! I'm just surprised that when I have a poo later on in the day, having eaten beetroot, that my poo isn't a horrible shade of purple!!

We were in Italy two years ago, I tried everything because we were abroad even the seafood which I am not a big fan of. But come on vegetables in a cake? no no.

I am not happy with the state of the nation.

A well made carrot cake is absolutely lovely!

Courgette in a cake sounds weird, but a lot of things that sound weird at first end up being really nice.
 
yeah, my dad took me for a pub lunch where they do chilli ice cream for desert, it's pretty good, warm and cool together
