Would you have these as interim manager to finish the season?

  • John Heitinga

  • Current Coach (Lewis, Cochrane, Burnett, Carr)

  • Ryan Mason

  • Jurgen Klinsmann

  • Chris Hughton

  • Brendan Rodgers

  • Edin Trzic

  • Gareth Southgate

  • Former Manager Hoddle/Jol/Redknapp/Sherwood

  • Stick with Frank no matter what

huh? Porro is like the best wing back we've had in donkey's years. Udogie can also do it too. So can Gray. We're dealing with professional footballers here that can play in different roles.

He may not play 3 at the back anyway.
Don't forget Spense, and Sousa looks to be suited to a more attacking role wide role too.

IMO we looked at our best when playing Danso - Romero - VdV, with the exception of the first half against Emirates Marketing Project. There is a lot to be said for putting your best XI players out there and making the system fit the players instead of vice versa.

Ok. This is every time he has taken over a team part way through a season. He joined all of these teams later than February 16th in all cases. In all cases he made a positive impact that led to saving the team from relegation or they qualified for Europe. If you took his record over our remaining 12 games we would get another 21pts. He did half as well we are comfortably staying up.

He is very clearly a mid season specialist, whether that is to save relegation or make sure clubs who rely on European qualification are in those competition.

2013 Hajduk Split - 4 Games
1 Win 1 Draw 2 Losses
1.00 PPG
Secured Europa League Qualification

2017 Galatasary - 14 Games
8 Wins 1 Draw 5 Losses
1.79 PPG
Secured Europa League Qualification

2018 Udinese - 4 Games
2 Wins 1 Draw 1 Loss
1.75 PPG
Avoided Relegation

2019 Udinese - 11 Games
5 Wins 3 Draws 3 Losses
1.63 PPG
Avoided Relegation

2024 Lazio - 10 Games
6 Wins 3 Draws 1 Loss
2.10 PPG
Secured Europa League Qualification

2025 Juventus - 9 Games
5 Wins 3 Draws 1 Loss
2.00 PPG
Secured Champions League Qualification

Total - 52 Games
27 Wins 12 Draws 13 Losses
1.79 PPG

Big name, but not someone who's au fait with the PL. Or the country.

But in the circumstances, a decent punt. But there is risk!

That is encouraging

In all honesty Udogie and Spence both suffer with nose bleeds with their final ball. Its an issue with Spence especially that he does the hard work then chooses badly.

Porro on the other hand as a wing back is among the very best at it.

Are they available next weekend? I was under the impression Porro and Udogie were injured. My bad.

Also - Udogie has 2 goals and 5 assists in 86 matches for us. He passes the eye test but numbers aren’t great.

Hi, I'm new here.

I don't know much at all about Tudor but at least he's got a bit of time before his first game and with it being Arsenal, it's a bit of a free hit considering our current form and injuries.

While I'm not the biggest fan of a back 3, it does kinda suit our squad.

Hope he does well and I'd guess that it'll probably be Poch in for the summer.

Fans on Social media apparently losing their minds over the appointment. The same sort of people that would have acted like this when we appointed Jol if social media was as big back then.

We need to be fully behind the manager and team for the rest of the season. Place needs to be rocking when we walk out against the Goons. Let's not start off this short and possibly brief chapter with negative vibes.
