The death of "live news"?
Amazing how everything is becoming so automated.
I only get the standard now when I come back from London but so many of there stories all sound the same to me. Watching the football tonight on the telly the commentators could have been replaced with robots as they just talked in cliches.
Maybe this is the future, robots doing all sorts of jobs, I wonder what else robots could be good for.......
1 and 2 would be the same thing these days, commentators can't help imparting their wisdom on all things football. The likes of Matterface drone on endlessly, getting paid by the word presumably, giving their own insights, instead of just telling us who's got the ball.Still wish there was a no commentary button. I like the ambient sound of a game. Maybe to option 1. No commentary 2. No Pundit 3. Neither but with crowd.
Don't know how true this is, but in the original red button on sky they had this option and they got rid of it because most people preferred this option. Unable to differentiate their product etc.Still wish there was a no commentary button. I like the ambient sound of a game. Maybe to option 1. No commentary 2. No Pundit 3. Neither but with crowd.
There are plenty enough narks on radio as well, none more so than the inflated turd that is Alan Green. Not that I've ever managed to synchronise the two media either.Putting radio commentary on with TV pictures is usually an improvement.
