Igor the Interim

Reports from Romania that Igor's father has passed away...if so, I wish him all the very, very best, the poor guy...here is the link for this (I saw it on a reddit forum)

Sorry for him. Give him a few days, and then discuss a mutually agreed termination. Get someone lined up in those few days. Someone should already be more or less lined up, if not it's another fudge up by this board.

They beat us 3-0 at the City Ground beat liverpool too and drew with Arsenal. His record was 10 wins and 9 losses over 25 games according to AI. Read on the BBC that just on his own results he would have them 12th. So, I don’t think he is a good long term option but he knows how to organise a team in the short term and has been there before. I think we could do a lot worse.
Fair enough, you’ve obviously given it more thought than I did. Just my gut instinct when Forest sacked him was that it was a good move by them and bad news for us. As for what we do now I really haven’t a clue.

Disagree. The club has acted without class for way too long.

I'd tell Tudor he's on compassionate leave till whenever he wants to come back. A month is about usual for a direct family member in most work places. But I'd also get Mason in tomorrow to lead his assistants in the interim.

I agree about Mason and about the broad approach. Not sure re a month being standard, though, three to five days would be more typical for a parent, although in particularly distressing circumstances any decent employer would extend this to whatever the employee needed, and this would likely be significantly longer for loss of a spouse or child, albeit likely unpaid.
