Igor the Departed

Full panic mode set in, while the results haven’t been amazing the last few performances have been steps up and with a few players back I was at least semi confident with Tudor.

I can only hope this is related to his father and not a board panic decision, but I doubt it.

1 PL point from a possible 15 and a complete collapse second half against Forest.

I don’t think they had a choice, to be honest.

The problem is not the who, it’s the makeup of the squad we have available. I think replacing now is the wrong time, will take 3-4 games to get to the same place Tudor is now.

Realistically if we get Maddison/kudus etc back then maybe we can do something, but without might as well promote the academy manager so we can supplement our first team and actual have players suiting a style

Carrick turned it around pretty much immediately at United. Our only hope now is someone can do the same for us. It wasn’t Tudor unfortunately.

I don't think he'd lost the players but equally he wasn't getting anything from them and the Palace and Forest games were both massive and we got nothing so it's the right decision.

Just seen Defoe has left to manage Woking, shame - would have liked to see him be part of the new setup.

I don’t think he ever had them in the first place. Difficult lot this crowd but they’ve been poorly managed all season.

Oh I agree, but United didn’t ever get to the point they had 0 creativity players and a bench full of kids, it’s comparing apples and pears.

Would love to be wrong, would love to see someone come in now and change things but can’t see it right now, we can’t score, can’t defend and can’t run although Tudor at least got a bit of a tune on the running side of things.

It just falls apart when you start to think of managers and the style they try to play, then think of who we have who could actually successfully play in that style.
