If You Could Know Now...

Magically a button appears in your text messages.
'PRESS NOW TO LEARN IF SPURS ARE STAYING UP OR GOING DOWN'.
This is no joke, 'tis the real answer! BUT you will still have to deal with the final four games even if you press the button and get the answer...
Yes, free yourselves from this purgatory.
No, live the waves of emotion.

(we asked this on the pod)...

No. Let it play out.
The last few games would be awful if I knew 100% it ended in relegation. I prefer to have straws to clutch, hope to cling onto and either delight or despair to deal with at the end.

Don’t want to know. If I found out now we’ve been relegated it just adds a few weeks to my gloom. Find out we haven’t and it will detract from the relief when we finally are mathematically safe

Absolutely not. The thrill is in the journey. Week to week, game to game, minute by minute. The swing between us scoring, Everton scoring and then West Ham scoring is what it’s all about. It’s the hope that kills you, but without these moments the great ones don’t feel as sweet.

I presume we also can’t bet on the outcome as that would obviously change things.

But without a hard No.

First of all the most enjoyable part of all this and why sport is unique to all other forms of entertainment is that the end of not pre determined like a book, film, play etc.

Secondly, watching the games is an enjoyable part of my week and it’s even more enjoyable when emotionally engaged. I can’t watch the Villa game this weekend as I have a Sunday league game at the same time. Annoying as it’s rate for both Spurs and my team to be playing a game at that time. And I’m genuinely annoyed about it.

Also just engaging in conversation with family and friends. This forum to. The half a dozen spurs podcasts I listen to become pointless. Including your @thfcsteff lol
