I liked Erik Lamela before it was cool

Yes, I thought he was going to be very hard to shift. Very good bit of business

I'm wondering re Moura and whether Nuno will play him RW, or whether he might play GLC further forward. Haven't seen many rumours about Moura leaving. Obviously depends on the formation which we play too
Moura will be here next season and then upgraded on IMO

A lot of players say that type of thing when they leave us, but in his case i believe he means every word of that.
Absolutely. All the best, Coco. A true Spurs legend, perhaps not for consistency and sheer brilliance, but certainly for attitude, commitment, and loving the shirt as much as (or more than) anyone in the stadium. I sincerely hope he returns to NWHL sometime.

EDIT: On second thoughts, perhaps not. He'd just go around breaking our new players and stealing water bottles, albeit with tears in his eyes. It's just what he does.

Not sure about legend. But will be remembered fondly by me. Same as dawson.

The pub I was in earlier was playing Always take the weather with you, as I was reading over this. Very spooky timing!

Farewell Lamela, literally. Last man standing from the Bale 7. Frustrating at times but you “got it”. Shame you couldn’t always “do it”. Injuries and family problems didn’t help but no one can fault the effort.

if you ever come back to play against us no goals please. And if you do score, no rabonas. And definitely no scoring with your right foot.

I would really like to see Erik thrive at Sevilla, it'd be nice to see him playing week in week out somewhere at the peak of his abilities.

A very useful squad player who gave his all, at times it looked like he'd push on to be more than that but unfortunately it was always start stop. Some quite spectacular moments (footballing and otherwise), thanks Erik!

He never really fulfilled his potential, and injuries hampered his Spurs career.

IMO the injuries played their part in him not becoming the player we thought we bought. Frustrating as that was, whenever he played he always gave 100 percent. And his Chelski brickhousery and rabona goals will be a part of Spurs folklore for years to come.

I think this is a good move for both parts, and wish him all the best at Sevilla. He's been a good and loyal servant to us.
