Net spend of zero pounds (We will have to sell, to buy)?
New TV money is 30-50 mil extra. Why not all of that?
Because it will be paid in intallments over the next 4-5 years?
Because it will get eaten up by even bigger EPL player premium transfer fees and player wage demands?

I think that we will spend between £30-£40m tbh and we spent more than that last summer overall but I suspect it will be on just 2-3 players. I imagine we will recoup maybe £10m or so. Despite us not getting much back in from transfer sales, what we will do is get a load of wages off the bill which I imagine won't neccessarily be replaced like for like. Gomes, Bentley, Jenas to name just 3 who must earn towards 120k a week at least between them.
I don't know why no one believes that we actually sold Jenas in January!
Although the crap thing is that we're still subsidising his wages in an arrangement a bit like we have with City over Ade.
I knew we were subsidising his wages but his contract with QPR was only to the end of the season I thought?
I also forgot to add in Gallas who will be leaving and he must definitely be taking home a nice wedge each week.

Surpising that the poll didn't have nigher numbers!
I'm expecting us to spend net £20m - £25m, based on us bringing in something like £10 from the sale of Ade and Thudd (despite their improved recent form) and spending about £30m - £35m. Given I htink we need 3 decent players, that would mean that we need to find 1 Bosman or bargain, particularly is we end us blowing £20m odd on Moutinho
We won't get any fee if we sell Ade. If anything we'll end up subsidising his wages at his next club, like City currently do for us. The deal we made to bring in Ade cheap has also made him unsellable.
