Hook deported, about f**king time...

Its because he doesn't have a hook and a beard - end of discussion.

On the one hand I liek telling the US to fudge themselves, we look like their poodles too much and when was the last time they extradited someone to the UK for a crime??

But I do see a double standard here as well.

Hey ho

fudging rate you for this Leeds.

Talha Ahsan also has Aspergers and has been extradited with Abu Hamza, it seems they parcelled all the muslims off and hid them behind Hamza and they now made sure Gary got off.

Double standards.

I think Khan is playing the race card here.

But there is a double standard and its horrible politics of the highest order.

There are clear differences.

One is supporting jihadi actiivity and laughing at the UK.

One is a lone guy seeing if he can hack the pentagon.

... to find info on UFOs.

I agree on the differences. The problem is May used the medical condition and human rights argument, which is a load of nonsense. Even if it was valid then why the difference in the two Aspergers cases. Its the right decision but for the wrong reasons.

They should all be tried here in the UK and convicted here in the UK because their alledged crimes were committed on UK soil. The only difference here was religion unfortunately and this will alienate many, a huge own goal from the government.

You consider the crimes equivalent? Raising money for jihad and promoting killing vs. looking for information about UFOs?

Not really. The government are already hated. This just reinforces it.

Not at all. I think he should be tried here in the UK, there is no clear proof they were raising money for anything mate.

Same rules should apply for Talha as they do for Gary.

P.S I am very happy for Gary and his family.

You cannot know that. The Americans think there is enough evidence to prosecute and request extradition. The UK judge thought there was enough evidence to make a case. The trials will determine if there is sufficient evidence to prove the accusations.

The reason I dug up this thread was to comment that the US attorney general seems to be refusing to talk to the Home Secretary. You'd like to think someone in that position was less prone to childish tantrums.

Why would it alienate people? Anyone with half a brain cell can tell that these jihadi dudes are evil fukers who want to destroy the values I this country and deserve everything they get. Herein lies one of our biggest problems with integration within this country a huge reluctance of certain communities to criticise their own regardless of what evil and illegal activities theyve been involved with.

I am not talking about Abu Hamza here. Babar and Talha are not Jihadis. The fact they have been piled in to one group because they are all muslim stops people from seeing the reality that they are all very different cases.

Anyone who is known to want to kill innocent people should be removed from uk/American soil and returned to where they originate. Fair comment?

Sorry mate, but if either of them were involved in the running of Azzam, then they were pretty much Jihadis. As far as I can see, that site and its material only existed to promote Jihad no? And the point of their extradition and trial is directly to ascertain whether they were the administrators of that site amongst others all promoting Jihad. Is this not the case? How does that in any way bare resemblance to a bloke looking for proof that aliens exist?
