I applaud you my good manI've already reserved a bedroom in the house we're about to buy for a cinema room.
Currently have to live with basic separates for home cinema, everything has to pass the waf so it's Bose and the like. I'll be starting with an HD projector and go from there.
There's only one rule, no 3D.
Good rule. There's only one rule, no 3D.
I have a fairly serious Naim audio set up I bought about 8 years ago. Like an earlier poster said, there is nothing like putting an album on and listening from start to finish.
How's this for thread recycling, Marky will be pleased
Question for anyone who knows about such things (Boonie that means you); on my hifi setup, the volume (which is the standard, 360 degree dial type) seems to offer a very narrow band between too quiet and too loud, the majority of the range seems entirely redundant. So the question is is my amp broken, or would different speakers react differently to the amp's power output, and can I do anything about it (pre-amp or whatever)?
Really annoys me that bloody volume control.
You want an AV Receiver of some sort by the sounds of things Bill, although you can use a standard hifi amp to handle the sound for basic stereo.
How does a Wii connect to the telly?
No, wouldn't have any video inputs on it (or outputs, obviouslystandard red yellow white AV cable - so a basic amp will not allow me to send my video via it like an AV receiver does ?
