Still a pretty average side considering the club itself.

could be a good partnership in midfield though, you have proper box to box in Guarin, the creativity in Kovacic and the power and skill of Hernanes. It's almost like the perfect three. They get that playing well, they could have a strong second half of the season. Of course, the manager won't drop Cambiasso so we probably won't get to see that midfield.

Maybe it is a South American thing but those players do tend to get attached to the clubs that bring them to Europe? A lot do come from humble up bringings maybe that has something to do with it? Sandro seems to have a genuine love for the club and Paulinho said he would die for Tottneham right after the transfer! Or maybe I am reading to much into things. Wish we saw more loyalty as you said but both players and clubs treat each other like commodities these days. Look at Holtby he really seemed to have an affection for the club and we ****ed him right off in under a year!
