Sweet. Very very sweet. How has the media not latched on to him yet? Still, I'm more than happy for Kane and Alli to take all the headlines.

You mean Pirouette surely?Looks a bit like a younger Scotty Parker the way he twists back to beat his man. Very effective and such a delight to watch.
Thought his finish for the Kane offside bit was pretty neat. Was very good against Fulham too, a few goals will do him wonders

Yeah it's getting suspiciously like that - he needs to be careful. You mean Pirouette surely?
97 in a season apparently! You mean Pirouette surely?
haha didn't realise there was a stat for that!97 in a season apparently!
Part of me wonders sometimes if he didn't have the legs of a Shetland Pony after all but had just spun around until he dug a hole.
They have a new term in rugby now called the finishers.... the players who come on to help you finish the game
Winks for us right now does that job with aplomb
He comes on and controls the tempo of the game in a manner that unsuak for a player with his relative inexperience
GHod I hate that term so much....
But he is the perfect sub at the moment.
I honestly wouldn't be shocked if he is in the next England squad

So true. He looks so assured whoever he plays and is definitely growing in confidence. Despite his inexperience I have no qualms to see him in either a starting 11 or coming on later to help shore up a game.

Thats a good shout. Considering how early wheelchair got in the England squad and all the hype around him, it shouldnt be a surprise if Winks gets a call up soon
Southgate knows him well through the u21s
Agreed; knowing what to do in any situation is so very important. He's a very clever player. It's something that's so invaluable especially in midfield and I don't think you can pick it up.

He never played under Southgate.
