Harry Kane MBE

The boost he needed to reignite his season. Defintely not 100% fit, but hopefully that will come. When that 3rd goal went in I was saying he should come off as he looked injured, I think he played through it but was clearly affected by a niggle.

Luckily he stayed on, because at the death he was crucial in drawing fouls at regular intervals to help run the clock down, plus, more importantly, getting a man sent off.

This. We simply must sign a top striker in January to play both with Kane and instead of him. Currently Kane looks knackered, jaded, injured and unfit for purpose. We should withdraw him from the international break and give him some recovery time.

We will see if Kane is all that in the international games. I think he is saving himself from injury when he plays with us.

Its not possible to just randomly withdraw players. Kane will also be eyeing up a hattrick against San Marino!

The whole team looks unfit so the international break is actually quite beneficial for those staying at Spurs. Conte's fitness people can get into them a bit

Other managers seem to do it! I think Kane is not fully fit. He is playing like he is carrying injuries anyway !
 
Anyone noticed that Kane and Son's body language towards each other isn't the same as last season? They aren't looking for each other in the same way they did. There are some rumours about Son and Lucas not getting on but the Son/Kane chemistry seems to have disappeared to me.
 
Yes seems worse lately. Kane doesn't seem to have much chemistry with anyone atm though. It's been like that since the Nuno era which coincided with Kane PR debacle. I think Nuno tried to make Son the focal point and maybe Charlie Kane sees that as a threat.

Hojberg is another... No one running for him when he gets the ball. He was fully behind Mourinho I wonder if we are seeing fallout from the rest of the team.

Also notice that when our players go down in a tackle they always get surrounded by the other team first. That instinct to protect a teammate isn't there. I think sometimes relationships are broken and are unsalvageable.

I think its more on sons side, when harry looks to pass son is still the first person he looks for, and the second person and sometimes even the third. That delay can kill us.
Son doesn't seem to trust harry anymore.
Harry possibly feels marginalised and is looking for his old ally.
