Harry Kane MBE

He's not being run in to the ground he's just not doing his job, @Finney Is Back done a good job articulating the particulars in a post earlier.
It is either that the manager's instructions and/or the shape he wants us in are absolutely appalling or Hojbjerg isn't doing what the manager wants. Obviously we can have no way of knowing which of those reasons is true but we cannot be playing games of football where the player who is (I assume) supposed to be the deepest of the three in midfield ends up being high up the pitch leaving a chasm of space in behind.

Wasn't there a tweet a few days before the NLD where an Arsenal fan or ex-player accused Hojbjerg or thinking he was a better player than he actually is? Makes you wonder....

Maybe i should have made it easier to understand by saying he is not the worse culprit for causing problems.

It's being going on for a while now so we are running out of possibilities, its either harry, hugo, dele or dier.
They are the only ones here over the whole period.
I know where i'd put my money.

It is Hojberg. Within minutes of watching the NLD I was crying for Skipp in the DM role. When Skipp came in the difference was clear. We have also seen Skipp play without Hojberg.

Main person to blame for yesterday debacle was Nuno, you do not blame players when they are playing in the wrong positions and they then fail. Skipps absence was the tip of the iceberg
Ordinarily I would agree but Hojberg was the deepest of the 3 midfielders. His positional discipline and recovery were very bad in the NLD. I was ranting at my screen within minutes of the match starting. I wonder how managers don't get cardiac arrest on the sidelines.
For all the insults people threw at Mikel Obi, that is one reason he was always brought back while he was at Chelsea - his positional discipline.
