Harry Kane MBE

Or that we dont want him to get injured in case they do cough up 150m+

As i said, ‘they will’ or ‘have agreed a deal’. Even if we didn’t play him as City may meet the fee required means a deal will be done, it may be £10m short, but it will be done.

For me, he is as good as gone

I'm the opposite. At the start of this week I thought it was more likely than not that he'd leave, but where we are now, I'm not sure I do.

Levy won't accept being left short like we were in the berbatov situation, and we dont seem to be on the verge of signing a CF which I think puts pay to any arguments that a deal is already done

Its possible that they come up with the right offer in the next 10 days, but if they were going to do that, then why haven't they done it already?

For me, he is as good as gone. The fact he didnt even get on the flight to Portugal for some easy game time speaks volumes. Wont be 'fit' for Wolves so misses that game.

It will all be on us getting a replacement in before he leaves.
If he was as good as gone then I think we would've been spending money. The fact that we seemed to bet getting a lot of deals lined up that have since gone cold suggests to me that we no longer expect to receive Kane money.

None of them.... Only two of them play in the PL for starters :D

We don't have the transfer fee/wage offer/prestige to be able to sign a ready made 30 goal a season striker unfortunately (perhaps not even a 20 goal a season striker). So we have to attempt to find a striker who could become that player. If Kane is staying (as is seeming more likely) then we can afford to have a bit of a punt on one of the younger ones like the first 4 names in the list. The problem is that 3 of those players would be a lot more expensive now than they were at the start of the window.
I'll go for keep Kane and take a punt, thanks.

Same here.... that would be the ideal (assuming we have the funds to take a punt of course).

It would make sense to bring in a talented young player this year if Kane is staying as the pressure would be off. The club may instead want to hope that Parrot or Scarlett can make the step up but I'm not sure the former will and I think the latter is probably about 3 years away.

Exactly, if a deal was agreed, at this stage we would have taken the money, thrown Kane under the bus PR wise and moved on.

If we sell him and keep it quiet we won't throw money, wouldn't take long for clubs to catch on.
We will quietly go about our business as normal.
Judging from what we hear about the dof several deals are lined up for us to take our pick from if things fall our way.

I see that Kane was present in the official Tottenham video showing today's training session. Appeared in one of the pictures put on the website too.
Very much marginalised, N'Dombele featured more.

I think what we are feverishly trying to do is get Tanguy out for some sort of player+cash deal, and a few others out on loans to free up wages. I am personally intrigued to see if the Tommy deal is dead due to Japhet’s re-rise?

We won’t be getting cash for Tanguy
We are desperately trying to shift the brick though

No, but I’ve heard that Dungannon Swifts have offered their left-sided CB and a bag of nearly new balls.

They are worried about Ndombele’s work rate, though, and fear that Thursday night training, and a match every Saturday, may be a step too far for him.

Anyone know what time we can expect the travelling squad for tomorrow’s game to be announced?

I know they don't publish it on the OS but once the typical time its documented has passed it should be findable on the net somewhere.
