Golf Thread

Nah I'd call it more of a game than a sport. When I think of an athlete, I think of someone like Carl Lewis, Jessica Ennis or Usain Bolt not John Daly.
 
That's like saying football isn't a sport because Neil Ruddock used to play it. Times have changed and to be top of this sport you not only need to have the ability you need to be an athlete as well. They are fit, fit guys now. Until recently people never accused footballers or rugby players or cricketers of being athletes but that's changed too.

I did a real mish mash of bets in the end.
McDowell to win each way.
Poulter to have a hole in one
1st round leader BAE each way
2nd round leader Webb Simpson
Alvaro quiros top 5 place
And something else too....
Max ?ú2 bet so no big outlay.

Deliberate extreme example.

Sport is as much about skill and physical prowess.

Tiger, Luke, Rory...all the top guys are very fit.

Sorry to hark back to an earlier post but surely you are only really an athlete if you compete in athletics! Look it up.
 
Why do sky show all these documentaries and films on it when its started already, so frustrating.
 
What the f.ucking tinkle is going on? Where is the Masters being shown

BBC2 have got highlights tonight..... for day 1 FFS!

I mean, who gives a brick about day 1 when it's half way through day 2?

And there's bugger all on at the moment. Sky have got it at 7ish tonight but I wanna watch it now.

Masters.com says I can't stream it from them because I'm not in the states, I can't see it on Veetle

Where the frig are the Masters streams that work, somebody PM me please as I wanna watch it now, ta.
