Not a problem though - useful to be able to phase him in gradually rather than have to rely on him and put pressure on him. If eriksen stays, then we can play Son, Dele and Eriksen behind Kane during Sept and bring GLC in gradually. Carabao Cup games and CL games (slower pace) are other good opportunities to bring him up to speed

Do you think Sessegnon will be used as a left back or as a left sided attacking player? I could see either but I think he needs more defensive work if he is to be a success at left back.

I think that being good going forward is a more important quality in a fullback. That said, I think that it's most likely that he'll start in a more advanced position and be played deeper once he's settled.
 
Looked very calm on the ball and had his head up all the time, as others have said its early days but promising start.

Was that the one just inside their half on the left, did a spin and showed a decent bit of acceleration and ball control to get away. That was the moment I thought we have a really good player here with such good touch and balance - we have really needed someone who can dribble a little as well as play that incisive pass. I always hoped Lamela might be able to do that role but he only shows it in glimpses - can see Lamela getting dropped once he's up to speed.
 
He was some way of starting a game, so no big loss!
So that's every summer signing now in the sickbay umm
glad he is on loan!
