Yep, had one last year. The first one was after a 5 mile run but managed to shrug it off. Had another a week later walking around Tesco, it seemed bit more serious so went to the hospital. Very minor and had a stent put into one of the arteries. Ginola's looks very serious and he was probably in the right place to have one. Wish him well.

I think in part it is just instinct, controlling the narrative. It's part of the job to try and stop wild speculation until more is known a denial is easier than trying to explain exact circumstances. It's a bit silly to put it out as an official twitter comment, though.
 
Crazy to think that someone as fit as him at the age of 49 can drop with a heart attack that needs a quadruple by-pass to fix it. I know he smoked/smokes but there are millions of 49 year olds in the world that are in much much worse shape than him. Just strengthens the argument that 99% of it is in the genes.

Get well soon David, the first proper footballing idol I had as a kid growing up.

Yeh and I would have said same till last week.

A colleague of mine had one and was all down to smokes, he was fit as a flea
 
people are not always aware of an issue, I found out I have a dodgy valve about 10 years ago, if I hadn't have been offered a job by a company that demanded a full medical I'd probably have never found out
