Genetic engineering

Very interesting. I couldn't help thinking of that movie Gattaca while watching that.

Edit: I just realised where they got the name for that movie now (doh!)

Crazy to think where we as a human race are going with this. I fully support when it comes to curing cancer, aids etc but imagine the technology got in the wrong hands? If a world war breaks out, governments would be able to create superhuman army's that could destroy the world. Saying that if that is possible, human may be able to live on other planets and escape it.

Who knows it could be history repeating itself. Maybe it happened a LONG LONG time ago and that race have moved to another part of the universe

I'm fairly sure people said similar things about electricity, air travel, etc.

I have no issue whatsoever with genetic engineering, we're genetically engineering our offspring when we choose a partner anyway.
