Don't understand why Levy doesn't do this,a big speech acting like some sort of president ,making it out the rest of the world care what they do,...................in a couple of weeks months time he be playing in some sort obscure corner of spain at 10pm on a sunday night getting lumped in the air by some argentinian defender.....

Why should he be be ashamed? There are billionaires out there who have impoverished entire nations. And for whom Bales £300k p/w wages are chump change. Bale hasn't done anything wrong.
 
Can't blame him, look at that stadium etc. Might be sickening for us but for him he is almost at the pinnacle and trophies will surely seal that.

Lots of jobs if you are in stage construction though.

And why then do they have a fake backdrop of an empty stadium when the real one is behind them??
 
football in spain especially between barca and real madrid is so political,they hate each other,so when barca payed 50 mill for naymar it put madrid nose out of joint it made them look that they couldn't attract anyone to the club,so thats why when they notice a player like bale they will home in on him like they done for the last year and just basically take him away........

this president was in charge a few years back and he always makes an effort in signing big players for big transfers,its all down to saving face really,this is their statement, in a year or two it be someone else and bale be just another member of the squad if he's still there.
 
To be honest I think Barca will go all out for Hugo next summer. We're going to get raped from both sides of Spain.
 
Yeah, but I'd rather be in a position where we at least have these world class players with huge transfer fees than not.
And at least we're moving upwards, and the players aren't getting their head turned by the likes of Liverpool (Keane).

Look at the deals Levy has done, even if under protest... he is always learning.

Get a grip man. We've had a fantastic summer. The team is significantly stronger than any time I can remember and once everyone has settled, we'll be a real threat.
