He's come out of his shell a bit more since he got his ears pinned back. He's already got the confidence to cut his hair so that it doesn't cover his ears like his hair used to. Trust me, he wants to be Ronaldo more than anything so he will only grow more confident/arrogant :lol:

Until I bothered watching that video, I'd kind of lost the emotional connection. Just looked at the numbers, the signings we've made, the thrill of what's to come, and thought - "Yeah, no matter that Bale's going"...

Yet, sentimental fool that I am, watching that and remembering watching so many of those games - not least at the San Siro - just makes me sad that I won't see him in a Spurs shirt again.

Ah well, time to put emotion aside and get back to the clinical, cold, hard facts... loads of dosh, great signings, a squad that I have no doubt is much the stronger now - without Bale - than it would otherwise have been.

I'm pretty sure Bale is gone but the continued delays must be making Bale (+ his dingdonghead agent) and RM squirm. I can almost imagine Levy going home after work every night and giggling himself to sleep.

Wow...Just how that vid cuts to the credits with his hug with AVB. Sad that it all had to end, sad that we will never see him in a Spurs shirt again and sad that the special relationship he had with our manager had to end.

I am still in denial I guess.. I just think there is more chance of this deal still not getting done for whatever reason. Levy to prove a point, Madrid not to come up with the money, Levy upping the price at the last minute, Madrid trying to drop the price.. Any one of them to be honest.. Them removing the podium adds fuel to the fire.

They are removing the podium because they have a game tomorrow.

deal is agreed im sure, just levy wont sign it off til it suits him. All the AVB interviews suggest its done.
