Spot on
How is it spot on?
He's had numerous monster games for us under previous management who apparently gave him no specific instructions. Yesterday he was good but are you forgetting him tearing numerous 'big teams' a new arsehole like Inter, Arsenal and a few others. Again he was good yesterday but he's had far better games than that so lets not start getting over excited now.
I've realised how people operate on here now. After one good game a lot of people get over excited and ignore previous games. bale until yesterday has been mediocre so lets not go on as if he's suddenly become this monster player.

No doubting he was brilliant for us under Harry but you hear things from players about Harry's lack of instruction, nothing teamtalks, Pav - fudging run around springs to mind...
I cant imagine AVB saying Bale fudging run about can you
I dont think Bale has been great this season but after reading his interview in the guardian yesterday suddenly things make more sense, as good a player as he is, he has taken a while to get used to his new role and instruction, maybe he has cracked it now and we will see him back to his absolute best over the next few weeks

He did well against ManU. But now you have to be worried about ManU coming for him at the end of the season. ManU are so fond of signing players who did well against them. Despite his long contract with us, there is nothing we can do if they manager to influence him. Hope we can convince him to stay for a long time.
Also, his big games before was when he was relatively unknown and hadn't shown what he can do, before he was being doubled, tripled marked, before goalkeepers, defenders new exactly what he was capable of. It's much more difficult ow and what makes a player truly great, when they can still do it when everyone is out to stop you.
Defoe was superb off the ball yesterdayDefoe's run helped a lot
